Daniel turned 1!!!

This blog is mainly about Daniel's first birthday. However, it is very disjointed because blogger hates me (and I am starting to reciprocate) and will not let me pull pictures down and put them in the correct order. >:o First, here are just some random pictures.

Daniel and Aaron playing.
Daniel next to Aunt Kelsey on the piano. He loves to tap the piano keys!

Daniel meeting cousin Logan for the first time. Logan is so cute!!! Daniel is pretty good with the little babies- though he does have a tendency to steal their pacifiers.
With his birthday cake on his actual birthday. We celebrated his birthday on Saturday and had a bbq outside. It was super windy so we never got a candle lit on his cake. The next day, we still had extra cake, so we did birthdat cake part II- with candle. Yes, he did burn his finger a little bit on the candle (no blister or anything, but there was a short burst of tears).
Jen came into town right before Daniel's B day and it was SOOO nice having her here!!!!! The cousins didn't really interact much (they preferred to a. play with toys b. cry c. eat (in Daniel's case, that should be 'a') or, d. spit up), but the sisters loved being together! :)
Daniel with baby Logan and Grandma Somerhalder.

Daniel playing with wrapping paper during the Saturday birthday bbq. He had fun at the bbq since he was outside and able to eat as much as his little tummy desired- pretty much heaven for the cute one. He once again didn't care too much about the fun toys (though now he plays with them quite abit- though, his favorite is probably the dishwasher).

Our happy family.

After he was starting to fill up on cake, he wanted to share with others- the great grandmas just happened to be close by. :)

With Nana!

With Grandma Pete!

We let him go to town on his piece of cake- he ate a TON and loved it!

More stuffing of the face.

Here is infamous candle lighting of April 2009. How many people does it take to light a candle on a windy day? More than we had apparently.

At first he wasn't so sure about the cake and only took little pokes. Once he realized that it was good and his usually anal mother was letting him eat whatever he wanted, he went to town (see above pictures). Notice the unlit candle. :(
I made his cake!! I am very happy with how it turned out.

Notice the failed cake pieces next to it- Silly Lindsay forgot that you should probably grease and flour (or even better use wax paper) on cake pans you want to pop out. But, then we had extra cake for his actual birthday.
