I was always disappointed as a kid when people made green eggs and ham and the eggs were scrambled. So, I attempted to make them fried. I used an insulin needle from work and injected green die into the yoke. They're a little tie-died, but I am happy with how they turned out.
Sorry for the dorkiness, now for other adventures.
Full body smiles and even a real smile from Grandma Ripp!
This girl really does love to smile. Someone remarked once, "she must take really good pictures." (because she smiles so much)- and she does. :)
Sometimes I look like a rodent. But my kids are cute.
Aaron remodeled our bathroom last month- monkey themed. It is very cute- he did a great job. Those monkeys bob their heads using energy from the lights!
The kids and I along with my mom, sister Jen and her daughter Nani (fart that's a long group) all went to Pine Valley last week. It was lots of fun!!
In St. George, getting ready to go up to Pine Valley (we dropped Jen and Nani off with her in laws for a day).
Getting Lenna bundled up for a brief little walk. See the little teeth on the bottom gum?? They and more like them are responsible troubled nights and naps worth poop.
Go cougs!
That sweater is from Jen and is from H&M (hache y eme if you're spanish)! I would wear it if it were 20 times larger.
I'd been taking so many pictures of Lenna that I wanted to let Daniel have some of the spotlight.
Aren't these fantastic pj's??
Out for a walk.

So, Daniel and Nani have a interesting relationship. Mainly, he annoys her-- on purpose. It's kind of like a big brother younger sister thing. He'll just stand right next to her knowing it will bother her and illicit a protest shriek. It's very funny.
Wonder why my kids wrinkle their noses and squint their eyes when they smile?
Cute group shot.
So, the weather up there was freezing! On Wednesday it was incredibly windy and COLD. Thursday, it was okay in the morning (hence the above pictures), but by the afternoon, it was this weird soft hail stuff. Daniel was very excited and went outside without shoes and wasn't fazed at all. I had to make him come inside as his feet kept getting redder and redder.
It did eventually snow, and it was beautiful. It really was gorgeous, especially since the trees still had leaves on them. It was fun to be up there in October and having a "winter trip," cozying up to the fire, roasting marshmellows, and drinking hot chocolate.
Looking out at the beautiful snow.
Out in the actual snow. He kept picking it up with his hands. Crazy kid!
Jen reading to Nani and Daniel. Nani was willing to share her mom some of the time. And, yes, Daniel's finger is up his nose. He has taken to that lately.
We made a quick stop on the way home from Pine Valley to the St. George temple.
Cute Daniel and Nani. Once, again, Nani giving Daniel the "you stinker face!" look and Daniel being mischievious.
On the steps of the temple. Daniel refused to sit with us, but I kind of like him in the background like this.
Last Saturday we actually had some time to spend as an entire family, so we walked the tunnels road down by the dam. The kids did pretty well (thank goodness for a nice double jogging stroller!).
Isn't this just fabulous? Have I ever told you that Daniel loves his dad? If I weren't enamored with the man myself, I might be a little jealous.
Pretty decent family picture.
Here are some bath pictures Aaron took to put up in our new bathroom (see above if you have forgotten about the new bathroom).
Daniel loves baths and is a crazy kid even when the camera is not out.

Cute church dress for my ladybug.
We have actually been up to even more the past 2 months (a trip to Bryce Canyon for Aaron and Daniel, a visit from the Somerhalders in their trailer that made Daniel's week), but our camera was MIA for a few weeks, so no pictures of said events. See my mother-in-law's facebook and blog if you'd like some. ;)

Great pictures Lindsay. Looks like you all had a great trip to Pine Valley. I love the bath pictures and the big smiles on Aaron and Daniel by the Dam. So glad that Lenna is such a smiley baby and the cutest thing ever!
I did put my Bryce Canyon pictures on your shutterfly account and also ones I took while we were at your house. I hope that it worked. If you don't have them, let me know. I still need to update my blog about our trip, hope to get to that after this weekend. ( our 8th annual ward pumpkin party ).
Hooray for a new post! Such fun pictures. Also, you're a totally cool mom for doing fun things like making Green Eggs and Ham.
Also, I'm mighty happy to be here seeing your kids' absolutely adorable faces instead of always seeing them via the Internet.
I love the Lenna smiles! She is adorable.
And I had to laugh that you used a needle to make fried-egg green-eggs-and-ham. They did look quite legit: way to use your educational and vocational skills in a non-work context :)
I am jealous of your Pine Valley trip. It looked like a lot of fun.
And you don't look like a rodent (but that made me laugh as well)
Wow! That was a lot of updating! So varied as pictures of you guys in the pool to you guys in the snow! I loved all the photos and the memories!
I think I loved the picture of Lenna in her warm outfit and BYU beanie the best! She is so cute and getting so big!
If you look like a rodent, that means I look like a rodent. :(
Either way, your kids are fantastically adorable. If they weren't my niece and nephew, I would wish they were. Hehe.
